1st Regiment of South Carolina Artillery House Flag
1st Regiment of South Carolina Artillery House Flag
These are modern all-weather nylon flags for your house or garden based on the original flag of the 1st Regiment of South Carolina Artillery.
Similar in design to the more famed 27th South Carolina Infantry's flag, the 1st Regiment of South Carolina Artillery flag carries out the use of "Old World" flag styles that were popular amongst the garrison regiments of Charleston.
The colors denote two battle honors, the first being noted at Moultrie April 12-13, 1861 (the initial attack on Fort Sumter). The second noted at Sumter April 7, 1863 (presenting the attack of Union Ironclads on the fort).
