1st Virginia Regiment Flag - 1775

Historical approximation notes:  Most of the artwork associated with the flag is based on a post war sketch. However, the sketch does appear to have some features that were likely not original (usually presented elongated vs the more common square). As to color, the original drawing is in black and white and makes no mention to color. Given a review of the noted uniform colors (mentioned as brown and green), I went with that as the base color as a reasonable interpretation of a likely field color. Similar green flags are noted from other units and surviving examples.

These flags are made to order and take about 3 weeks to produce and ship.
