Design based upon the 3rd Louisiana's Van Dorn pattern flag used during the Corinth/Iuka Campaigns in the fall of 1862. The design includes the battle honors of Oak Hills (better known as Wilson's Creek, Missouri) and Elk Horn (better known as Pea Ridge, Arkansas).
