Battle of Locust Grove Flag Stickers

Design is based on a flag captured at the Battle of Locust Grove, Indian Territory (modern day Oklahoma). The design is very similar in nature to that of the 1st Cherokee Mounted Rifles (see below notation). No clearly identified unit has been attributed to this flag. 

First Cherokee Mounted Rifles Flag - white stars representing the seceded States and the five red stars representing the five Civilized Indian Nations that joined the Confederacy.
