"Dixie" Star and Crescent Insignia Shirt

Design based on surviving examples of star and crescent insignia generally linked to regiments from Louisiana and Texas (but not exclusive). While no formal symbology, the general design features are dictated by common themes of Southern symbols associated with freedom and individual states. 

This example is based on an engraved pattern with the word "Dixie" scrolled across the bottom portion. Dug/surviving  examples of these are common, but are often confused with the nearly identical corps badge of the 7th Corps.
