"Touch Me Not" North Carolina Button Sticker

Design is based on a small series of surviving buttons from North Carolina, both surviving in original condition and found on Eastern Theater battlefields. Similar to the South Carolina "Palmetto Defender" buttons, the design is a depiction of a snake wrapped around a tree. The inscription reads "North Carolina - Noli Me Tangere" or Touch Me Not in Latin.
