11th Arkansas Jacket 1862

This Commutation System jacket is based on a period image from the 11th Arkansas Infantry and the solider wearing the jacket was captured at the Battle of Island Number 10 in April of 1862. 

One of the more striking garments of the Confederacy, the jacket is made from striped cotton, trimmed across the chest, collar, cuffs, and is elaborately decorated with a heart on the left breast.
