15th Mississippi Shirt
15th Mississippi Shirt
Based on a shirt worn by a member of the 15th Mississippi, the shirt is indicative of the style of issue shirt worn by Southern forces during the war. The shirt is made from cotton osanburg or wool flannel, placket, and fall collart. The shirt is not dissimilar to that of the Federal issue shirt in general patterning concept, although simplified.
