These are modern all-weather nylon flags for your house or garden based on the original flag carried by the 28th Louisiana Infantry.
The 28th Louisiana flag was never surrendered and was torn into fragments by the regiment prior to returning to their homes in May of 1865. A small fragment has survived, but no overall flag. As such, the design is based on the fragment, written descriptions, and other similar flags seen in other associated Louisiana regiments within the theater.
These flags are made to order and take about 3 weeks to produce and ship.
The original flag is located at the Confederate Memorial Hall Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana. Museum details can be viewed here.
