Shirt is based on an unknown solider from the 6th North Carolina. Similar to many overshirts, this example retains features similar to that of both a shirt and a jacket - a hybrid of concepts that was popular amongst many units in 1861. The garment has a standing trimmed collar, trimmed cuffs, waistband, and closed with North Carolina State buttons, and can be made in a variety of base colors and trim colors.
