Confederate Kentucky State Seal

The first Confederate Governor of Kentucky would be George W. Johnson, but his tenure would be short lived, as he was killed in action at the Battle of Shiloh. However, before his death he designed a new state seal for the final addition to the Confederates States of America. 

The seal depicts his arm and hand placing the 13th star in line with others representing the existing states of the Confederacy.
