CS Issue wool shirt based on e on worn by Private John MacRae of Starr's Battery and worn during the North Carolina Campaign of 1865. The garment is typical of wool shirts madre from mixed blue wool flannel. There is some historical speculation that this cloth was imported by the Confederacy, but could also be domestic product. It is also believed that this may have been a product of the North Carolina State production goods.
