Georgia State Frock Coat - Collar and Cuff Trim Variant
Georgia State Frock Coat - Collar and Cuff Trim Variant
Like many states within the Confederacy, Georgia separately supplemented the supply of garments issued by the Confederate government. This example is based on a period image, with details in construction copying those found on surviving examples. The frock comes with a wool trimmed collar and cuff trim flaps. The frock is closed with Georgia state buttons. While the jackets issued by the state appear more common, frocks trimmed in this manner appear relatively common place amongst the forces in 1861-1863.
