Based on a surviving shirt associated with an English volunteer to a Louisiana regiment, the shirt represents a civilian shirt possible a depot shirt utilizing civilian fabrics associated with the Trans-Mississippi Theater. The shirt is made from three separate (but similar) cotton striped materials (variations in the sleeve, body, and pocket material). Shirt has two outside pockets, no cuffs, and a folded placket.
