This reproduction jacket is based on an example worn by Abraham Adler (21st Mississippi) and is believed to have been issued in the summer of 1863. As per other examples of jackets from Richmond, the jacket is constructed with a mix of machine and hand work. The body of the jacket is made from a grey on natural jean cloth and lined in cotton osanburg.
