Richmond Clothing Bureau Jacket English Army Cloth 1863-1864 (Handsewn Variant)
Richmond Clothing Bureau Jacket English Army Cloth 1863-1864 (Handsewn Variant)
This is reproduction as produced from September of 1863 through the summer of 1864 in English Army Cloth. This example is based on surviving examples that were handsewn vs the commonly seen machine sewn versions. These were produced during the same period of production, but like Columbus, both types of construction methods are seen.
The jacket is based on a surviving original example in a private collection. A similar example based on a historically machine sewn variant is available here.
