Richmond Clothing Bureau Jacket English Army Cloth 1863-1864 (Squared Collar)
This is reproduction as produced from September of 1863 through the summer of 1864 in English Army Cloth. The Richmond Clothing Bureau's extensive use of machines in their jacket construction is reflected in this example. Like the original, the jacket is machine sewn long seams and top-stitching, with hand sewn sleeve caps, belt loops, buttonholes, and details.
The jacket is based on examples with a squared collar and have a lower button count than the traditional 9.
